Nancy Burleson

Volunteer Bell Choir Coordinator

I'm Nancy Burleson. My bell history began in 1982, in Manassas, VA. Since, I have rung in parades, festivals, hospitals, for weddings, memorials, and with church/ community choirs. I've had the privilege to visit a bell foundry in England and to purchase my own set of hand chimes. Some of my class studies have included bell tree, solo ringing, hand health, bass bell safety, repairs and maintenance.
I joined the JJB in 2005 and became coordinator in 2012. I am founder of Plateau Ringers; a community handbell county choir that started in 2017. I thank FFGCC for allowing PR to use the bells and church for our rehearsals.
